GORNOM 2: Vuskhell Station 1.0

Low budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to create an epic, the creators instead need to focus on one unique feature to make their games stick out. From these restrictions come some truly inventive concepts. One of them is GORNOM 2: Vuskhell Station, a game where you have to survive in a haunted service station and uncover what is happening.

The first thing you'll notice is the graphics. You control a tall, lanky individual in an environment that's freakishly detailed in comparison to you. The audio is also incredibly well done, giving an ambiance that the game wouldn't have otherwise. After you restock the shelves and have a quick game of Breakout on the arcade, things quickly start to fall apart and become supernatural.

This game has a surprisingly extensive lore that actually requires you to play the previous entry in the series to get a full grip on it. It can, unfortunately, get a little hard to follow at times due to the dev's first language not being English, but it's still an incredibly interesting game with a good story. There are also multiple endings to this game that are incredibly different and has some different criteria for you to unlock them.

All in all, GORNOM 2: Vuskhell Station is a very well put together game that carries a surprising amount of intrigue despite its length.
