Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created a ton of mods. This has led to a ton of mods that propose alternate universes. One of the most fun and well-realized ones is the gender-bent universe. GenderSwap BF over GF is an entry in this universe.

To install GenderSwap BF over GF, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This mod is pretty straightforward - it replaces the girlfriend with a gender-bent boyfriend. It's a very high effort design too, with the design making her into a tomboy as a nod to his original design while also still keeping many characteristics like changing the hairstyle ever so slightly while making it still recognizable.

The mod changes the sprites all the way up to week 6 as of right now, which really points to the amount of effort the creator put into this, as many other visual mod overhauls avoid week 6 due to it being outside their area of expertise.

In comparison to a lot of other Friday Night Funkin' mods so far, this visual makeover definitely has a ton of effort put into it. GenderSwap BF over GF is a fantastically fun visual mod that really fleshes out this alternate universe.
