There are a couple of incredibly well-known figures in the online flash point-and-click escape room scene. One of them is Tesshi-E, who is known for simple, straightforward, but satisfying escape room games. Let's look at one of their games - Escape from the Pesimari.

To play Escape from the Pesimari, you have to unzip all the files into the folder you extracted the FPSoftware files to. Then, navigate to FPSoftware -> Basilisk-Portable -> Basilisk-Portable.exe. Afterward, drag the HTML onto the Basilisk browser.

The story is pretty much the same as all their other games. The local general store Pesimari is holding an escape event, and you've decided that you want to give it a shot.

There is an intro that introduces the story and lets you get a feel for the tone of the story. A translator has put out a solid English version of the game, and you can pick which language you want to play the game in whenever you want.

This game has a special examine item button so you can zoom in and interact with an item in your inventory closely. This will prove essential as you try to escape from the room as there are some hints that can only be found by examining items closely. Other than that, just click on the sides of the screen to rotate the view of the room, click on an item to zoom in and interact with it, and click the bottom of the screen to zoom back out.

All in all, Escape from the Pesimari is a great game that really highlights how talented Tesshi-E is at puzzle design.
