Low budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to create an epic, the creators instead need to focus on one unique feature to make their games stick out. From these restrictions come some truly inventive concepts. One of them is Cleaning Redville, which is an atmospheric horror game where you collect trash in an incredibly creepy village in the middle of the woods.

This was created for a game jam, so this game can only have so much depth. However, it is a very unique premise, which is what game jam games tend to be known for. You play as a garbage truck driver working in a very creepy village, and apparently, you exclusively collect garbage at night. You drive street to street, load up your truck with a bunch of garbage bags that are out on the street, use a compactor to squash them, and repeat.

Obviously, since this is a horror game, nothing is as it seems. From the corner of your eyes, you'll see glimpses of shadowy figures and somebody who is leaving you strange notes, which means everything may not be what it seems. The story of this game is very intriguing despite how limited the game itself is.
