BYOND is a program that can be extremely useful for beginners. It's a program to teach you the basics of coding and does so with an interface that is so simple it's meant for children. You can create animations, video games, and interactive artwork easily. It's known to be so effective at it that some beginner coding classes use it to teach.

Installing BYOND is extremely simple. Just run the installer and you're good to go. As soon as you boot it up, you'll notice that is has a simple, basic, yet comprehensive GUI in which you can view the list of games that are available and view various information about them, such as their genre and rating. In the right pane, you can see more detailed information about that game like active servers, game descriptions, and relates games. It's all very straightforward, complete with a search function and basic sorting feature.

This program has a ton of games, but they are all incredibly indie. Some of them are so indie that you can call them underground. However, the most popular ones are also probably the best and most polished ones. The program also comes with a bevy of development tools to let you create your own games and let BYOND host it.

All in all, if you want to take a look at what people can do with the same tools you have access to, then you should give the program a download. Otherwise, there's probably not much for you.
