Broken is a short dating simulator or graphic novel, that starts out super cute with different animal friend that have names based on the animal they are such as Bear Affleck or Rabbit Downey Jr and two for the three friends very swiftly embark on a love affair, that again very quickly turns bad.

The rabbit it seems is very possessive which leads to an extremely dark twist in the game which from the outset seems a huge surprise bearing in mind the animation used in the game seems like it could be used for a children’s TV show however don’t expect the storyline to be family friendly it shows a dark side to relationships that we probably have all experienced at least one but the ending is quite surprising and definitely shocking, not at all what you’d expect.

Broken actually was a strangely enjoyable experience and my only qualm with it would be that I would’ve enjoyed it if it had gone on for half an hour or even an hour but the whole thing being over in just a matter of minutes is a little disappointing and just left me wanting to play a bit more and learn more about these strange characters.
