Best Romance Game Ever is a dating simulator/visual novel which sounds very promising from its title if a little full of itself! However the game is quite different from what you may expect and depending on the actions you can take the game can go in to a few different directions and has multiple endings.

The game is actually more about the emotional journey that your little robot companion goes through than a game that has been designed for you to enjoy, there is a lot of fourth wall breaking here and discussing the developers choices with robot (you can actually change the robots name to anything you want at the beginning of the game) that will appeal to some people and there are some very clever jokes about code writing and programming strewn throughout Best Romance Game Ever but if you’re here looking for a romance simulator specifically you may well be left disappointed.

The game/visual novel will provide you with some amusement for a short amount of time and those of you who like to get absolutely everything you can out of a game may enjoy discovering all the different endings but there’s not too much here to keep you coming back for more.
