Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with Mirchi Games being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, Abandoned Factory Escape 8.

The first impressions aren't great. Mirchi Games has packed the game to the brim with ads, which is understandable but still irritating. The graphics, however, are near photorealistic, and more importantly, detailed and has each interactable object stand out. One nice gimmick is that your inventory carries over from the previous entry, giving this series a nice sense of continuity.

The music and sound effects work well together. The music is fairly unassuming and the sound effects do their job well enough.

The puzzles themselves are fairly fun and well-designed, however. There's a consistent flow of logic and not a whole lot of pixel hunting as each object is fairly noticeable, which is impressive for a flash escape game, as many had leaps in logic.

All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Abandoned Factory Escape 8 is very worthy of your time. You won't regret your choice if you give this game a shot.
