Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Mateusz Skutnik is one of the best creators of the genre. He's known for his Submachine series, but he's created a lot of other series as well. 10 Gnomes is one of them. Let's look at 10 Gnomes 5: The Shipyard.
To play 10 Gnomes 5: The Shipyard, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
This game once again uses a photo as a background, only this time, the subject of the photo is unique. Instead of some overarching nature shot or a view of the beautiful city skyline, it's a fully urban construction yard with a ship in the background.
Gameplay's simple and hasn't changed at all - you click to zoom in on certain areas and try to find the 10 gnomes in the 10 minutes you're given. The areas you can zoom in to are marked by your cursor changing so it's not exactly hard. It just means it's less about observation and more about just clicking a lot. There's still pretty much no changes gameplay-wise, but at this point, there likely won't be.
If you're a veteran of point and click games, you should definitely give 10 Gnomes 5: The Shipyard a try.
